Brita Mutti, ND, FABNODr. Mutti is a registered naturopathic doctor and a board-certified naturopathic oncologist. Her primary interest and strength is in providing compassionate care through close patient-physician relationships in a collaborative environment. Her goal is to help patients understand health issues they may be experiencing and the treatment options available through conventional and alternative medicine. She works with her patients and other health care professionals to develop plans for improved health and optimal wellness based on the body’s inherent ability to heal itself. Dr. Mutti specializes in treating cancer, hormone imbalances (including adrenal deficiencies), thyroid disease, sleep disorders, immune conditions (including autoimmune diseases and improving immune function), as well as digestive dysfunction (including leaky gut, heart burn, candida, diarrhea, constipation, and IBS). She is an experienced provider of craniosacral therapy, homeopathic medicine, pediatric care, geriatric care, and men’s and women’s health – including optimizing fertility, menstrual irregularities, peri-menopause and menopause support, and bone health. She is knowledgeable about genetic SNPs (including MTHFR), environmental medicine and detoxification, optimizing diet, and providing support through lifestyle changes. Dr. Mutti has a special interest in addressing the special needs of men and women in the military, particularly by supporting mental and emotional wellness (including PTSD, anxiety and depression) and by optimizing detoxification due to increased exposure to vaccines, chemicals, and environmental pollutants. Dr. Mutti completed her doctorate in naturopathic medicine at Bastyr University in Seattle, where she also completed the Cortiva Institute’s massage therapy program. She was selected for the Indiana University Health Goshen Center for Cancer Care’s prestigious in-hospital residency program in naturopathic oncology. She coordinated naturopathic care for cancer patients by working with patients and MDs in an integrated environment. This included prescribing vitamins, minerals, dietary modifications, herbs, and homeopathic remedies to enhance the effectiveness of chemotherapy, improve healing times after surgery and radiation, and to treat the side effects of traditional cancer treatment. As a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology, Dr. Mutti applies the art and science of naturopathic medicine to the field of cancer care and treatment, providing alternative and complementary medicine to patients living with cancer. Dr. Mutti is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Colorado Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians. |
